[01:11.85]Musical career：1980s–1997
[01:20.89]In the late '80s, André frequented club Tarm Center in Bochum
[01:29.95] on the weekends to listen to the music of DJ Thomas Kukula
[01:38.94](better known as the General Base).
[01:43.94]In 1992, he decided to try music composition himself.
[01:47.93]His equipment consisted of an Amiga computer and a small synthesizer.
[01:56.86]Thomas offered to let André use his recording studio to finish the song.
[02:04.83]In the studio, André used his first professional synthesizer
[02:12.61] Sequential Pro One, which he decided to name his first project after.
[02:20.32]Tanneberger started his music career with the dance music group Sequential One.
[02:27.77] In February 1993, Sequential One released their debut single "Let Me Hear You",
[02:35.30] followed by "Dance"/"Raving". Singles brought them small financial benefits;
[02:42.99]André gained the opportunity to organize a mini-studio. In 1994
[02:58.93] the band increased by three members: Ulrich Poppelbaum,
[03:06.39]Woody van Eyden and vocalist Morpha. In early 1995 the House Nation label
[03:14.09]released the group's first album, Dance.
[03:22.63]After the great success in his native Germany, Sequential One gradually became
[03:31.14]known in other countries of Europe. The second album,
[03:40.06]Energy apart from Germany, was also released in the Netherlands,
[03:49.02]Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. Despite the success and growing popularity,
[03:57.84] two members of the project—Woody van Eyden and Morpha—still left in 1998.
[04:06.76]Only André and Ullrich were still left in the group. In 1999 Sequential One
[04:15.59] ceased to exist. Shortly before the collapse, André managed to release
[04:19.94]the last single "Angels" and the compilation album Decades.
