[00:48.33]housing march Sunday into the Chicago suburb of Cicero.
[00:51.94]Cook County Sheriff Richard Ogleby asked King to call off the march and the
[00:55.39]police in Cicero said they would ask the National Guard to be called out
[00:58.22]if it is held.
[00:59.46]King, now in Atlanta, Georgia, plans to return to Chicago Tuesday.
[01:02.53]In Chicago Richard Speck, accused murderer of nine student nurses, was brought
[01:07.90]before a grand jury today for indictment.
[01:09.54]The nurses were found stabbed an strangled in their Chicago apartment.

[01:18.54]House Committee on Un-American activities continued its probe into anti-
[01:21.95]Viet nam war protests.
[01:24.28]Demonstrators were forcibly evicted from the hearings when they began chanting
[01:27.57]anti-war slogans.
[01:29.56]Former Vice-President Richard Nixon says that unless there is a substantial
[01:33.24]increase in the present war effort in Viet nam, the U.S. should look forward
[01:36.89]to five more years of war.
[01:39.46]In a speech before the Convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in New York,
[01:42.56]Nixon also said opposition to the war in this country is the greatest single
[01:46.44]weapon working against the U.S.
